Changing Generations. Creating Impact.
Breaking cycles through mentorship, education, and intentional community.
Fathers don't need to be perfect — they need to be present, intentional, and willing to grow.
Mentorship and education can create generational change for youth and families.
Meaningful relationships and support systems shape the trajectory of future generations.
I found my purpose in life through fatherhood — now it's my job to create the platform and opportunity for others to find theirs.
The foundation didn't start in a boardroom. It started in the streets of Washington, DC.
At four years old, AJ Adams lost his father to gun violence. His grandfather had already passed — meaning his father was navigating fatherhood without a father of his own.
Growing up as the oldest male on his paternal side from age four, AJ carried responsibilities many young boys are never prepared for. Without consistent male guidance, he created a mental image of his father as a superhero who could always show up when life got hard.
Through his own journey, he realized: many fathers who grew up without fathers are navigating the same fears and uncertainties. That realization became The JMBD Foundation.
